Students will explore concepts around creatures in the garden, examining their importance to the ecosystem. The students will visit an entomologist and a museum. They will consider how to share their learning with others in a Mini-beasts Museum. This will involve them selecting their medium. They might create a claymation, a website, a movie, posters, powerpoint, a model, interactive activity on digital whiteboard or with digital microscopes, to name a few. They will then choose, as a class, to undertake a project to do something with their learning eg create a butterfly garden.
